Foreign Currency Exchange - When is the best time to open an account ?

Good question. My view is that once you ve decided to buy in France – open an account. There are formalities that need to be respected so you can get your identification and address confirmed. Having an account in place makes it easier to move funds over to pay the deposit to the notaire for example. Its good to make contact early on in the buying process.
