Nice cottage has been used as a holiday home but could be a main residence. Its situated close to the town of Sourdeval in La Manche which has a good range of shops and facilities – there are other small tours and villages around like Saint Pois, St Sever etc…but Sourdeval is the main attraction. Popular with tourists is the Lac de la Dathée – a tourist feature which is ideal for walking, fishing, golfing etc… The property is within easy reach of the main channel ports of Caen Ouistreham and Cherbourg which are about 1h and 1h20 mins away roughly.

The property is situated near a village with a bar/shop and bakery. 10 minutes drive to the market town of Sourdeval which has a good range of shops and amenities.  The large town of  Vire is about 15 minutes away – as you would expect has plenty of shops and amenities and a main line train station. The Lac de la Dathée is about a ten minute drive –  ideal for walking, fishing and boating, and an 18 hole golf course.Saint Sever forest is popular for walks – closeby too.

 Sourdeval is approximately 1h 20   drive from the port of Caen Ouistreham and about 1h40 from Cherbourg. The airport at Dinard is around 1h20 minutes away – cheap flights to UK with Ryan Air. Also Granville – port for access to the Channel Islands is under one hour away and St Malo is around 1h20 – so good access generally
