Beautiful 17th century Bastide, built of natural stone and nestled between the Luberon and Verdon national parks on a plot of just over 5000m² with views of the Luberon and Lurs mountains and the Alpes.
In addition there is a separate renovated outbuilding providing an independent single storey 2/3 bedroom property with its own gated entrance
The main house approached by remote controlled gates and a driveway leading up to the property with the house sitting discretely back from the lane.
The entrance to the L shaped property is via a courtyard with fountain at its centre.
With 2 stone steps you arrive at the original arched doorway leading to the entrance hall. Straight ahead, built within the cupboard is a traditional butler’s corner kitchen. Next to this is a separate WC.
To the right through 2 arched glass doors you enter into a large living room with stone fireplace and wood burning stove (stone and beams are evident throughout), to the end of the room is a small balcony providing wonderful views of the Lurs mountains and the Alpes. An impressive stone spiral staircase leads to the first floor with landing off which is a shower room with twin basins, shower and WC. There are 2 bedrooms a double room with velux windows with roller shutters and the other a large family bedroom with 4 single beds. This part of the property can serve for Chambre D’Hôtes or Gîte/Apartment.
Returning to the entrance hall to the left are 2 steps which take you to a large fitted and equipped kitchen with traditional range cooker, which opens onto the lounge/diner. This part of the property was the former sheep shed and annex to the nearby Chateau.

A door from the living room takes you to a sheltered terrace at the side of the property which overlooks the field where the sheep graze. Leading off from the living room with its godin wood burning stove is a large bedroom with lovely view’s and its own shower room and dressing room. This area of the property serves as another Gîte/Apartment with completely independent access.
From the living room a door takes you to yet another apartment again with independent access. The door leads to a corridor off which is a WC and a small but well designed and equipped kitchen at the back of which is a staircase which leads down to the owners own summer kitchen which can be closed off.
Continuing along the corridor you arrive at another living room with wooden floors and underfloor heating and once again a classic Godin wood burning stove. All the colours are authentic to the period with the use of “farrall and ball” paint. A door from here leads to a terrace which in turn eads to the garden with pool beyond. The property benefits from various water supplies, well water, canal de Provence (which are used to water the garden with automatic sprinkler system and to fill the pool) as well as mains water. Continuing from the living room there is a child room with nautical theme and a double room with shower room and door leading out onto a small balcony with stairs down to the garden. This completes this part of the property which forms the 3rd apartment/gîte
Returning to the courtyard there is a stone staircase to the left leading to the balcony to the kitchen/living room above. Under the balcony straight ahead is access to the owners living room to the left is access to the summer kitchen this in turn leads to a bedroom with shower which is open to the bedroom and separate WC, a door from here takes you back to the owners living room and all season kitchen.
From the living room a door to the rear leads to the boiler room with gas central heating system after which there is room for storing bed linen, towels etc
There are also several small vaulted cellars one of which is the obligatory wine cellar, these have the potential to create further living space.
Door leads to the side of the property making it easier to feed the sheep. Another arched door leads to the front of the property to the right of the main entrance.
On the land are 2 swimming pool, the main pool is heater and has and has a sliding dome cover, and shower at the side of the pool.
Next to the pool is a pool house with pump room with sand filtration systemand automatic ph control together with a shower room/changing room and a separate WC.
In the courtyard to the left before the summer kitchen is a large garage/workshop with separate utility room and 2 vaulted cellars used for garden storage and nursery.
Finally there is a separate property/gîte with a lean-to at the rear which is used as a car port and tractor shed.
